🥜 In a nutshell
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support reliable, high-quality data access across the organization. Your work will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across all departments.
🎯 The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to collect, process, and deliver data from multiple sources.
- Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure clean, accessible data.
- Build and manage data warehouses and data lakes to support scalable data architecture.
- Implement data quality checks, validation, and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Optimize database performance and query speed, ensuring cost-effective data processing and storage.
- Design, build and maintain APIs to enable secure and efficient data access.
- Automate repetitive data tasks and contribute to infrastructure that supports real-time or batch data workflows.
- Document data processes, structures, and definitions for technical and non-technical users.
⚡ All you need is…
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Talend) and data pipeline orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and services like BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs for data access and integration.
- Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with streaming data technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed systems.
- Working knowledge of Oracle BI for data visualization or reporting purposes.
- Familiarity with Jira for project tracking and task management.
