🥜 In a nutshell

As a Payments Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting our fast-paced payment operations. You'll ensure that every transaction is accounted for and reconciled across systems, helping us build trust, remain compliant, and optimize financial operations.

🎯 The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

• Reconcile deposits, withdrawals, voucher flows, and crypto transactions daily against bank statements and internal systems.
• Support the month-end and quarter-end closings with timely reconciliation reports.
• Investigate and resolve mismatches or anomalies in payment records with Finance and Customer Support.
• Ensure all payment-related financial data is properly documented for audit and compliance purposes.
• Monitor key financial indicators such as cash flow, fees, and processing delays.
• Assist in regulatory reporting and maintain alignment with compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Payments Data Analyst and Finance to align ledger data with operational flows.
• Contribute to improving internal controls and financial workflow efficiencies.

⚡ All you need is…

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, financial reconciliation, or a similar finance-focused role.
• Familiarity with accounting tools such as NetSuite or Oracle BI.
• Strong grasp of general ledger principles, reconciliation workflows, and financial control standards.
• Familiarity with SQL or experience with data validation techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling high-volume, transactional data.
• The ability to manage large datasets across multiple payment channels with accuracy.
• Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

      Nice to have

• Experience using ERP systems like Oracle.
• Background working with digital payments, PSPs (e.g., Sherpay), or other high-frequency transaction environments.
• Prior exposure to iGaming, fintech, or regulated industries.
• Experience with Jira or similar task/project tracking tools.
